Introduction For MR120

Thank you for purchasing Dynatron’s Miracle Remote. This remote will actually allow you to operate most if not all of the features found on your TV, just like your original remote! It is amazingly simple to use. Remember our slogan: No Programming, No Codes, It Just Works! Just remember to put in batteries! The operating instructions are listed below. You should consult your TV owner’s manual for additional information on operating specific functions.

Also remember this is a TV only remote: it will not operate other devices such as a DVD or VCR, nor will it operate features not found on your original remote control.

Operating Instructions

This remote is designed to operate most Toshiba® televisions. For the common features, please see the back of the package. Only the more complicated features and features with alternate names will be discussed below.
The TV/VIDEO* key allows you to access DVD, VCR or games.
ANT* allows you to switch between Antenna 1 and Antenna 2 on older TV’s
PREVIOUS CHANNEL also known as RECALL allows you to view the last channel.
EXIT allows you exit all menus
PICT FMT* is also known as PICTURE SIZE and allows you to change picture size and shape and ratio.
DSP/SUR* pressed repeatedly allows you to select surround sound and additional audio modes. These features are found in the menu on some TV’s.
SLEEP *turns the TV off in 15,30,45,60,90, or 120 minutes. Keep pressing the SLEEP button to cancel. This feature may be accessed through the menu.
Most TV adjustments for audio, video and channel auto programming are done through the menu.
There are 2 MENU keys, MENU 1 and MENU 2. Most TV’s use the Menu 2 button. Once in Menu 2, the CH+/- allows you to scroll up and down in the menu and VOL+/- allows you to make changes to a feature. IF the CH+/- and VOL+/ do not operate the menu, press menu 2 again and use the 4 arrow buttons to go through the menu. You may also need to use the ENTER key to make some menu selections.

If MENU 2 does not operate your TV menu use Menu 1. Once in the menu, if the CH+/- and VOL+/ do not operate the menu, press menu 1 again and use the 4 arrow buttons to go through the menu.

On some older Toshiba sets you may also need to use the OPTIONS button for certain menu set-up and the + or – buttons to go through the menu.

The AUDIO* and PICTURE * buttons which control sound and picture menu functions on some TV’s are also used in the same way the menu is. The CH+/- allows you to scroll up and down in the AUDIO or VIDEO menu and VOL+/- allows you to make changes to a feature. IF the CH+/- and VOL+/ do not operate the menu, press the AUDIO or PICTURE button again and use the 4 arrow buttons to go through the menu. You may also need to use the ENTER key to make some menu selections

ATTENTION: If you press the arrow keys or press the + or – buttons, you may get a blank screen or scrambled picture. To return too normal mode just press TV/VCR or the previous channel button.

PIP WINDOW * The following controls are located in the PIP box on the bottom of the remote.
SOURCE is also known as the 2nd TV/VIDEO button and allows you to choose alternate inputs.
The CH+/CH- keys are utilized to change the channel in the PIP window. Note: On TV’s with single tuners you must use your VCR as the 2nd tuner: please reference your owner’s manual for complete hookup instructions. Just a reminder that certain PIP functions or any function not found on your original TV remote will not work.

For more detailed information on specialized PIP features and all other features please refer to owner’s manual.
NOTE: Not every button will work on every TV. For additional information visit us online at www.miracleremote.com
